This study aimed to construct and standardize a psychological capital scale for high school students in the Arab community, to be used in assessing the level of psychological capital among high school students in this context, and to examine differences in participants' responses to the scale based on gender and socioeconomic status. To achieve this goal, the psychological capital scale was developed and standardized through an assessment of its face validity by three judges, with modifications made according to their feedback. Subsequently, a factor analysis of the questionnaire was conducted based on Guilford's theory, utilizing the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test and Bartlett's test. The factor analysis revealed three underlying domains with eigenvalues greater than one, which accounted for 35.23% of the total variance. Thus, the final version of the scale comprised 32 items distributed across three domains: coping ability, openness in thinking, and determination for achievement. A high internal consistency was found among the domains with the total score of the psychological capital scale, with correlation coefficients between the different domains and the total score ranging from 0.329 to 0.903, all statistically significant at a 0.001 level. This indicates a strong internal consistency among the domains with the overall score of the scale. The results also showed that the level of psychological capital among students was moderate.
