The study aimed to reveal the implications of social media on children's aesthetic values from the mothers' perspective. The researcher relied on a descriptive analytical approach, and a questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, consisting of three main axes of aesthetic values: moral, social, and material. The study was applied to a random sample of (188) mothers who have children in the second and third grades of elementary school in the city of Mecca. The study reached several notable findings, including that YouTube is the most used social media platform among children, with a high percentage, followed by TikTok in terms of usage among children. The study revealed the nature of the content that children watch, with entertainment content ranking highest compared to social, moral, educational, cultural, and historical content. The results showed that children acquire moral aesthetic values and exhibit many aesthetic behaviors at a high level for both genders. The study concluded with a set of recommendations and suggestions that could help bridge this gap. (Published abstract)
