آليات مقترحة لقبول طلبة الدراسات العليا في ضوء اقتصاد المعرفة من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية الأردنية
This study aimed at proposing mechanisms for accepting graduate students at Jordanian Balqa Applied University during the year of 2019-2020. The population of the study was consisted of (1344) faculty members working at the same university while the random sample was consisted of (227) members. To analyze the study data the two researchers used means, standard deviations, ANOVA, “t” test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Scheffe test. The final results of the faculty members’ appreciations assured that the importance degree of knowledge economy, information technology techniques and graduate students’ admission requirements at Jordanian Balqa Applied University were high. The results also showed statistical significant differences at the level (0.05) between the grades of proposed mechanisms for accepting graduate students according to the knowledge economy, the importance degree of information technology techniques and the students’ enrollment for higher studies, due to the specialty area and the faculty member academic rank. The two researchers recommended that a new field study should be conducted to propose new mechanisms for appointing new faculty members at the graduate studies programs of Jordanian Balqa Applied University according to the knowledge economy from the faculty deans’ and higher administrators’ point of views.
