This study aimed to reveal the effect of designing a digital program based on Nano-learning on reducing the cognitive load for middle school female students. To achieve this aim, the study employed a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental group of 35 female students who were randomly selected. The study instruments included a cognitive load scale. The results indicated statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group on the cognitive load scale in both the pre-and post-application, in favor of the post-application. The results show that designing a digital program based on Nano-learning has a clear-cut impact on reducing the cognitive load for middle school female students. (Published abstract)
