تصورات معلمات اللغة الإنجليزية للتدريس باستخدام التعليم المدمج خلال جائحة كورونا : دراسة ظاهرة

The research aimed to study English teachers’ perceptions about using blended learning during the Corona pandemic. The research significantly focuses on increasing the number of modern techniques’ users who are male and female teachers. This research may help guide them to the right transformation. A qualitative approach has been used, and the study community consisted of female English teachers, while the sample includes nine female teachers who are intentionally chosen from Al-Qunfudha’s schools. In addition, data has been collected from the study sample’s members through the semi structured interview tool. The study came to several results. One of the most important results is that English teachers have positive perceptions of using blended learning. However, traditional learning methods of English are used more than blended learning now. This is caused by several factors such as infrastructure fragility, family disinterest in providing an appropriate environment, lack of internet in schools, and dysfunction or even delay in devices’ repair. These obstacles can be overcome by preparing an appropriate school environment that suits blended learning which can be achieved by providing enough devices, high-speed internet, and technical support should be available anytime. Moreover, students and their families should be aware of the significance of blended learning. (Published abstract)
