The study aims to determine the predictive ability of family climate and perceived self-efficacy in life satisfaction among children of divorced people, and to investigate differences according to some demographic variables. The study adopts the descriptive, predictive, correlational approach. The study sample consists of 182 children of divorced people in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate schools were selected in the most convenient way. The results show that the level of both family climate and perceived self-efficacy was moderate, while the level of life satisfaction was high. The results also reveal that both (family climate and perceived self-efficacy) together explained (70.8%) of the variance in the level of life satisfaction. The beta values for the contribution of family climate and perceived self-efficacy to life satisfaction were, respectively: (0.567), (0.466). The results reveal a statistically significant correlation between family climate and both: perceived self-efficacy and life satisfaction. The results also show that there are statistically significant differences in the family climate in favor of those (17-18) years old. There are no statistically significant differences in perceived self-efficacy and its fields due to: gender and age. There were statistically significant differences in satisfaction with life and the two areas: (school dimension, self-dimension) attributed to gender, where the differences are in favor of females. There are statistically significant differences in life satisfaction and the areas: (the family dimension, the friend’s dimension, and the self-dimension) in favor of those (17-18) years old.
