The phenomenon of child labor or labor is one of the widespread phenomena in the social milieu, which has attracted the attention of many researchers and workers in the fields of psychology and sociology; like other countries, we find that this phenomenon has met with popularity and terrible spread in Algerian society under penalty of obtaining a living, and even that some families push children towards work or that parents oblige the child to contribute to carrying out work, even if it is difficult beyond the ability to Physical them. This phenomenon has spread to the exploitation of children in some political actions and activities, such as elections, due to the absence of control over the paralyzing of these behaviors, as well as the lack of material cost of this workforce, which is sufficient to disregard some symbolic gifts and gifts. Algeria has adopted preventive strategies to combat child labour at the institutional and structural levels, represented by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (Labour Inspectorate): The services of the Labour Inspectorate have integrated the monitoring of child labour into their basic programmes and activities; In addition to the National Authority for the Protection and Promotion of Children (notification mechanisms), which launched the Green Number; In addition, the National Committee for the Prevention and Combating of Child Labour, which is composed of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security; Vocational training and education; Health; National solidarity, family and issues Women, civic education, agriculture and rural development, interior and local authorities, youth and sports, communication, justice, religious affairs, foreign affairs as well as the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA). The Committee is chaired by the Inspector General of Labour and meets every year to prepare a plan of action in the context of contributing to the fight against child labour. (Published abstract)
