درجة الوعي بمفهوم المواطنة الرقمية لدى طلبة كلية التربية الأساسية وطلبة كلية التربية جامعة الكويت : دراسة مقارنة
The study aimed to identify the degree of awareness of the concept of digital citizenship among students of the college of basic education and students of the college of education at Kuwait University, and the impact of some variables on that, and to present proposals to enhance digital citizenship. The study used the comparative approach, and data was collected through a questionnaire that included (40) distributed phrases, on five dimensions of digital citizenship (digital access to educational services and their resources, digital commerce, digital communication, digital responsibility, security and digital health requirements), and future proposals to enhance digital citizenship, were applied electronically to a sample of (2283) students in the college of basic education and the college of education, Kuwait University. The results of the study concluded that awareness of the concept of digital citizenship as a whole and all dimensions came to a large extent among the study sample and came in the first order digital responsibility, followed by the requirements of digital security and health, then digital communication, and finally digital commerce for students of the college of basic education, as for students of the college of education Kuwait University came in the first place digital responsibility, followed by digital communication, then digital access to educational services and their resources, and finally digital commerce. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of students of the college of basic education about digital citizenship due gender and area of residence variables, and the presence of differences between the averages of students of the college of education at Kuwait University due to area of residence variable, while there were no differences due to gender variable, and that digital citizenship can be strengthened among students through training them to master security skills, and dealing with digital technologies.
