عوامل إعادة إنتاج خطر التسرب المدرسي في ظل جائحة كورونا
Schools, as institutions created by society to transmit knowledge, traditions, values, and customs, serve as essential environments for the holistic development of individuals. They play a pivotal role in fostering the social well-being, cognitive growth, and moral development of students. Consequently, the significance of schools cannot be overlooked, as their impact on individuals and society can be either positive or negative. Governments, recognizing this, dedicate considerable resources and attention to maintaining and enhancing educational systems. However, the unprecedented closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced severe educational and social challenges. This forced shutdown has not only created new issues but has also exacerbated existing problems. Observations during this health crisis have highlighted a growing concern over the increase in school dropout rates. The continuous closure of schools have intensified fears of a resurgence in dropout rates and the subsequent negative consequences. This research aims to explore whether the COVID-19 pandemic has reintroduced factors contributing to the risk of school dropout. By examining studies and research conducted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), this study will investigate the psychological, social, and economic factors influencing dropout rates. The methodology includes theoretical analysis, intellectual discussions, interviews, argumentation, interpretation, synthesis, and comparative analysis. The goal is to identify the key factors at play and propose safer, more effective strategies to mitigate these risks. This academic exploration seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by the pandemic on education and to offer insights into addressing these issues to ensure the continuity and improvement of educational systems in the face of future crises.
