This study seeks to discover the extent to which the incentives and motivations of the human resources working in university libraries and their contribution to raising their performance level, through a field study among a sample of employees at Ibn Khaldun University Central Library who hold positions and perform functions at various levels and posts, in order to achieve the study's objectives, we have relied on the descriptive method by collecting and analyzing information from the study location according to different dimensions and indicators relating to the incentive and motivation among the sample of 22 workers of different ranks, based on descriptive statistical methods, Through occurrences that reflect the degree to which the sample responds to the totality of the terms in the questionnaire form divided into two axes, on the various psychological and internal motivations that drive employees to increase performance, as well as the impactful incentives followed by the library under study and its impact on increasing employees' performance. The study produced a set of findings confirming the impact of both motivations and incentives on employees' performance by contributing to raising the morale of those working at Ibn Khaldun University Central Library, especially with regard to a sense of belonging, challenge, and passion for success and creativity University library workers need an effective and equitable incentive system to achieve multiple needs, increase well-being and improve their social and economic conditions. Promotion to positions is also one of the most important incentives to help increase performance in the library in under study. University library administrators are more interested in the human factor as intellectual and knowledge capital in the institution, which must be developed and maintained, especially as it plays the most prominent role in the achievement of jobs and businesses properly.
