النموذج البنائي المفسّر للعلاقة بين النزعة للتفكير الناقد واليقظة العقلية وفاعلية الذات لدى طلبة جامعة الشرقية في سلطنة عمان
The aims of this study were to verify a structural model of the relationship between critical thinking disposition, mindfulness, and self-efficacy. On a sample of (486) male and female students from A'Sharqiyah University in the Sultanate of Oman, during the academic year 2021-2022. The descriptive correlation approach was used. The results of the study indicated that the levels of mindfulness, critical thinking disposition, and self-efficacy were high among the study sample, as well as the results of the path analysis indicated a direct positive effect of mindfulness in both critical thinking disposition (β=0.41), and self-efficacy (β=0.76). As well as the presence of a direct positive effect of self-efficacy in the critical thinking disposition (β=0.47). Finally, there was an indirect positive effect of mindfulness on the critical thinking disposition through self-efficacy (β=0.36). All the effects were statistically significant at different levels of significance. The study recommends designing programs to develop mindfulness among university students. Because of its direct and indirect effect on students' critical thinking disposition, and self-efficacy, which contributes to improving their academic performance, and social interactions.
