تقييم الإدراك البصري لدى الأطفال المتمدرسين في السنة الأولى ابتدائي : البيئة الجزائرية نموذجا
Visual perception is considered one of the fundamental cognitive processes that intervene in the learning process. The (DSM-5) has pointed the possibility of assessing visual perception difficulties in the beginning of schooling age, due to its negative impact on academic skills acquisition. This is what prompted us to study the possibility of diagnosing these difficulties among Algerian children studying in the first year of primary school, On the other hand, we aimed to knowing the possibility of relying on the test (Abd El Hamid Suleiman El-Sayed, 2003), which was originally designed to diagnose visual perception difficulties in aged between 8 to 9 years. This choice is due, despite the disproportionate age of the sample, to social change and rapid technological advancements that have influenced the cognitive development of children. The results confirmed the possibility of relying on this test, as it exhibited good psychometric properties and a high ability to distinguish between those with good and weak in visual perception.
