السلوك التكيفي الاجتماعي عند الأطفال المصابين بالتوحد : دراسة ميدانية بجمعية الأمل بتلمسان
This study aims to investigate the social adaptive behavior levels among a group of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) residing in Tlemcen, Algeria. Additionally, it aims to identify statistically significant differences in social adaptive behavior levels among individuals in the sample attributed to both gender and severity of ASD, To achieve these objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was used, aligning with the nature of the study, The Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) by Houari Sharif (2019) and the Social Adaptive Behavior Scale (SABS) by Dib zahra (2018) were adapted to the Algerian environment and applied to a sample of 30 children with ASD, consisting of 18 males and 12 females, aged 7-12 years. The results were analyzed using statistical software (SPSS)، and the following findings were obtained: 1) The social adaptive behavior level was found to be relatively weak among children with ASD. 2) There were statistically significant differences in social adaptive behavior levels attributed to the gender variable. 3) There were no statistically significant differences in social adaptive behavior levels attributed to the severity of ASD variable.
