The research aimed at examining the effectiveness of a proposed strategy based on merging both of Gardens of Ideas and Mantie of the expert strategies to develop neural branching thinking skills and quality of academic life among female students of home economics at Menoufia University. The research sample (n,= 120) was selected from 3rd year female students enrolled in the department of home economics and education, at faculty of home economics, Menoufia University. The sample was divided into two groups, an experimental, and a control (n,= 60) of each one. To achieve the research aim, neural branching thinking skills test and academic quality of life scale were constructed, then, pre- and post-applied on the two groups. The research followed the descriptive and quasi-experimental approaches. After processing the data statistically, the results showed a statistically significant difference at the (p≤ 0.01) between the experimental and control groups students' mean scores in the post application of the neural branching thinking skills test as a whole and its sub-skills, and academic quality of life scale as a whole and its sub-dimensions in favor of the experimental group students. There was also a statistically significant positive correlation between the experimental group students' mean scores in the post-application of both of the neural branching thinking skills test as a whole, and academic quality of life scale as a whole, thus the effectiveness of the proposed strategy based on merging Gardens of Ideas and Mantie of the expert strategies to develop neural branching thinking skills and quality of academic life among female students of home economics at Menoufia University was proved.
