The study aimed to identify requirements of the competitive advantage in entrepreneurship in Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and the obstacles that face achieving the competitive advantage in entrepreneurship therein according to teaching staff’s viewpoints. the researcher used the descriptive approach the researcher utilized the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data teaching staff members in Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University including Saudi and non-Saudi male and female teaching staff members holding PhD’s (assistant professor and more) and whose number was (2078) male and female teaching staff members. The study was conducted with a random sample from the original community (325 participants). The study came to the following results most prominent of which were the following: Requirements of achieving the competitive advantage in entrepreneurship in Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University received a very important degree with arithmetic mean of 4.51 out of 5 and standard deviation of 0.0447. Study community members' consent with a high degree on the obstacles facing achieving the competitive advantage in entrepreneurship in Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University with arithmetic mean of 4.07 out of 6 and a standard deviation of 0.672 most important of which are the following: shortage of partnerships between the university and the private sector; for funding the entrepreneurship projects. There are statistically significant differences at 0.01 level and less amongst the study sample members in College of Education as well as College of Media and Communication as well as the study sample members in the rest of colleges with regard to business incubators and requirements of the competitive advantage in the entrepreneurship in Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, in favor of the study sample members in college of education as well as College of Media and Communication.
