The research aims to build a proposed curriculum document for emerging digital issues necessary for developing Islamic studies curricula in public education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To achieve the research objective, the descriptive approach based on the external expert survey method was used, with the construction of a questionnaire tool. The participants in the research may have been experts in general education, experts in curricula, teaching methods, educational techniques, Sharia sciences, and the principles of Islamic education. The research reached the construction of a list of digital issues appropriate for public education students in its three stages. In light of this list, the proposed curriculum document was built, consisting of its intellectual framework, a matrix of scope and sequence, and a curriculum map. The curriculum map consisted of five main areas, and each area consisted of a group of criteria (digital issues) amounting to (78) issues, and each criterion consisted of a group of indicators amounting to (582) indicators distributed over the three stages of education, with (19) criteria, (102) indicators for the primary stage, (29) criteria, (210) indicators for the intermediate stage, (30) criteria, and (270) An indicator for the secondary stage, specifying the appropriate content for each indicator, the teaching strategies that contribute to achieving it, and the evaluation methods that confirm its achievement among the target groups of learners.
