The aim of the study is to identify the educational effects of private lessons on school education in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of parents. The descriptive approach and the questionnaire were used as a tool to apply to a sample of (2673) males and females, representing Approximately 15% From a positive or negative point of view, according to what the study sample sees, as the study proved that most of the phrases on the educational effects axis fell in the large category of the scale, which is the category between (3.29 / 3.72), and this proves these effects, as came the phrase helping the student to understand and absorb the study materials ranked first with an arithmetic average of (3.72), and the phrase “the private teacher’s neglect of the students he teaches at school” came in the last place with an arithmetic mean of (3.29). (Gender) was in favor of males, while the study indicated that there were statistically significant differences regarding (monthly income), as it was proven that the highest income category, which is from 1001 and more, is the category in which private lessons are frequently used. And the study recommends the need to take the Ministry of Education is the most important deterrent measures and laws to prevent this phenomenon. (Published abstract)
