مستوى وعي معلمات العلوم باستخدامات التكنولوجيا الحديثة وأثرها على تطوير تعلم مفاهيم العلوم لدى طالباتهن
The research aims to assess the awareness level of science teachers regarding the use of modern technology and its impact on developing science concepts learning for their female students in public middle schools in Abha city. The descriptive (survey) method was employed. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire tool consisting of (3) dimensions was prepared and administered to (55) randomly selected teachers. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to calculate the reliability of the questionnaire. Additionally, percentages, means, T-test, and one-way ANOVA were employed to answer the research questions. The research results indicated that the teachers had a high level of skills in using modern technology in science education, and their awareness level was very high. Furthermore, there was a significant impact on the development of science learning among students when teachers used modern technology. No statistically significant differences were found at the 0.05 significance level in the awareness level of science teachers in using technology and its impact on developing their students' science learning. This lack of significance was attributed to variables such as academic qualifications, years of experience, and the number of training workshops in technology. Among the prominent recommendations include directing teacher preparation institutions to focus on electronic teaching skills and information technology in teacher training programs. Authorities are encouraged to monitor the educational process, guide and support teachers in acquiring technology skills and e-learning methods and provide guidance on incorporating these skills into student learning.
