The research aimed to reveal the scientific concepts that will be developed in the Biodiversity and Conservation Unit in light of the Asir development strategy, and the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population and its sample consisted of the ecology curriculum for the first secondary grade, for the first academic year 1445 AH / 2023 AD, and the data was collected through the Biodiversity and Conservation Unit content analysis card. The results showed that the degree of inclusion of the skill dimension as one of the dimensions of the Asir development strategy in the Biodiversity and Conservation Unit from the ecology book for the first grade of secondary school came in first place and with a medium degree of inclusion in general, as its frequencies reached (48) indicators, and a percentage of (44.4%), and in second place came the societal value dimension, where the number of its indicators reached (37) indicators, and a percentage of (34.3%), and a low degree of inclusion, and in the third and last place came the cognitive dimension, where the number of Its indicators are (23) indicators, and a percentage of (21.3%), and a low degree of inclusion, and the research recommended the need to include scientific concepts extensively within the ecology course at the secondary stage in light of the strategy for the development of the Asir region and The research with a perspective for the development of some concepts of the unit of biodiversity and its conservation from the ecology book for the first grade of secondary school in light of the dimensions of the Asir development strategy.
