The study aimed at identifying the "Degree of influence of modern professional standards on the vocational and administrative empowerment for schools' headmasters and their relation to their performance evaluation model from the viewpoints of managers and heads of departments. The population consisted of (53) directors and heads of the department according to the official statistics of the Directorate of Education, Yatta 2022. The sample was selected randomly. The researcher used a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the study showed that the degree of influence of modern professional standards in empowering managers of schools of education was professionally and administratively high. The most important professional criteria were the management of the school as an educational institution, followed by the standard of activating the relationship with the community and external relations. It was also found that there are no statistically significant differences in the arithmetical averages in the degree of influence of modern professional standards in the empowerment of vocational and administrative schools' principals Yatta due to gender variable, years of experience, and scientific qualification. It also found that there are statistically significant differences in the mathematical averages in the degree of the effect of modern professional standards on the empowerment of vocational and administrative schools principals due to the job variable. There was a statistically significant relationship between the degree of influence of modern professional standards in the empowerment of school managers vocational and administrative and their performance evaluation models. The study recommended working on the standards of leadership and development of the teaching and learning process and working in harmony with performance evaluation models. (Published abstract)
