The study aimed to evaluate the science curriculum for the eighth grade in Palestine, using the analytical descriptive approach. The study population and its sample were from the science and life book for the eighth grade. The researchers used tools in the study: a content analysis card (the four foundations of the curriculum, educational objectives and their areas), knowledge components and levels, standards for curriculum elements, artistic direction, book introduction, and outline standards. The validity and reliability of the tools were verified, and the results showed: availability of curriculum foundations, arranged: cognitive foundation (40%), social foundation (26%), and psychological foundation (19%), then the philosophical foundation (16%), with a very good degree, with the exception of criterion (9) in the philosophical foundation standards (1%), with a weak degree. The curriculum works to spread a culture of justice and equality between the sexes, which is educationally unacceptable, as for the components of knowledge. The content included facts (20%), concepts (51%), generalizations (11%), theories and laws (1%), skills (3%), attitudes (14%), understanding and comprehension (52%), and application. (26%), reasoning (22%), essay questions (81%), objective questions (19%), supplementary questions (13%), multiple choice questions (68%), interview questions (17%), and true and false (4%), and classroom activities constituted (75%) and extracurricular activities (25%). There are (11) broad lines with a good and very good degree, (3) lines with a moderate degree, and line No (1) with a weak degree. It is not acceptable educationally, and the degree of availability of standards for the artistic direction of the book is high, and there is no standard available that “contains a list of terms, and a list of references.
