ضحايا الإساءة الجنسية ودور المؤسسات التربوية في تقديم الحماية : دراسة استرجاعية
The research addressed the exposure of a group of girls to sexual abuse in childhood and the role of educational institutions in providing support and protection for them. The research sample consisted of (6) girls who were sexually abused in childhood in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and their ages ranged between (28-38) years. The research used the qualitative approach and semi-structured interviews as a tool for collecting data, as the girls were interviewed via the (Zoom) platform using audio and video technology. The results showed that the girls were exposed to various forms of sexual abuse, such as rape and touching private parts of the body, in addition to the girls' lack of awareness of the abuse they were exposed to until later and their reluctance to share their experience with others, in addition to not receiving any type of support from family members or school. The research recommended activating the child protection system, clarifying the organizational and procedural role of the school in preventing sexual abuse, in addition to working to introduce sex education curricula in the early childhood stages.
