The "Science and Life" curriculum for the third grade in Palestine was studied with the aim of evaluation and analysis. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method، and the study sample consisted of the "Science and Life" textbook for the third grade for the first and second semesters of the academic year 2023-2024. Content analysis was used to evaluate the philosophical, psychological, social, and cognitive foundations of the curriculum, in addition to assessing curriculum elements such as educational objectives, knowledge components, teaching methods, educational resources, educational activities, and evaluation questions. The results showed varying availability of curriculum foundations, with the psychological and social foundations being more available than the cognitive and philosophical foundations. There was also variation in curriculum objectives, with cognitive objectives being more common compared to skill-based and emotional objectives. The results also revealed an imbalance in the distribution of classroom and extracurricular activities, with classroom activities being more common. Regarding evaluation, there was a greater focus on cognitive aspects with a shortage of skillbased and emotional evaluation questions. The study recommended the need to reconsider the balanced distribution of curriculum foundations, and to integrate the needs and desires of special needs and disabled individuals, as well as to improve the philosophical and belief aspects, diversify and improve emotional and skill-based aspects, and enhance diversity in educational activities and evaluation questions.
