The aim of the research is to investigate the role of school principals in developing creativity among primary school students in Najran region. The researcher used the descriptive approach to conduct the study. The study population consisted of (179) principals and principals in primary schools in general education in the Najran region, and the researcher chose an intentional sample consisting of (179) principals and principals. In order to collect research data and information, the researcher developed a questionnaire that consisted of (30) paragraphs distributed on two axes. The results of the study showed that school principals play a major role in developing creativity among primary school students in the Najran region, where the arithmetic mean of the role of school principals in developing students’ creativity at the level of the creative school management dimension was (2.66), and the arithmetic mean at the level of attention to creators was (2.81). The results of the study also showed that the approval of the study sample members on the obstacles that hinder the director from developing creativity among students in the primary stage came to a large degree, as the arithmetic meant (2.65). The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the response averages of the study sample members about the role of school principals in developing creativity among primary school students in Najran region, due to the variables of gender, years of experience, and educational qualification. While the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the response averages of the study sample about the role of school principals in developing creativity among primary school students in Najran region due to the variable of training courses in favor of the study sample who obtained more courses. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended holding training courses and workshops to train students and teachers to develop creativity in schools. The researcher suggested conducting a study on the role of creativity in developing students' academic achievement. (Published abstract)
