The study aimed to identify the most important aspects of artificial intelligence in education, and to review the most prominent applied and research proposals presented about it. To achieve the study, the researcher used the systematic review method, which is a scientific and standardized review of Arab and foreign studies that dealt with artificial intelligence in education, during the time period from 2019 until November 2023, which was published in the system’s databases (Wiley, MDPI, Science Direct, ACM, the number of reviewed research studies reached (79) studies. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that most of the reviewed studies discussed artificial intelligence in six axes, namely applications of artificial intelligence, uses of artificial intelligence in enhancing the role of the teacher and student, developing scientific material and administrative systems for the educational institution, and revealing the advantages and benefits of employing artificial intelligence and its applications in education. The studies also addressed the obstacles and challenges faced in employing artificial intelligence in education, as well as identifying the attitudes of teachers and students towards employing artificial intelligence in education and the factors affecting their attitudes towards it. The studies also discussed the ethics of employing artificial intelligence in education that must be adhered to in order to achieve the desired goals. The studies also presented a number of applied and research proposals, the most prominent of which is a proposed vision for creating a classroom based on artificial intelligence programs within every general education school and conducting a study of the impact of using artificial intelligence in developing scientific research skills among graduate students, and its impact on developing mental skills.
