The study aimed at identifying the counseling services for students of the preparatory year at King Abdulaziz University and its relation to some influential variables (age - social status - specialization). The sample consisted of the study population of 346 female students, the researcher used a scale that she developed, consisting of thirty-one paragraphs, divided into four dimensions: the social, the professional, the academic and the psychological dimension. The study achieved several results, the most important of which are: the counseling services for students of the preparatory year achieved a medium degree, and a percentage of 61.2%. As to the dimensions, their order is as follows: Social dimension ranked first, followed by professional dimension, and then academic dimension, and finally the psychological dimension. Besides, there is no significant difference between the groups in the counseling services for students of the preparatory year due to the variable of their age, there are also no statistically significant differences between the average of the scores of the dimensions of the counseling services due to the variable of the social status of female students, in addition, there were no statistically significant differences between the averages of the scores of the dimensions of the counseling services due to the variable of the specialization of female students, except the dimension of (psychological services) it was found that there were significant differences between the two groups in favor of students of theoretical departments.
