تطوير المهارات القيادية لمديرات المدارس في ضوء التعليم عن بعد : تصور مقترح
The research aims to provide a proposal for developing leadership skills of female school principals in light of distance education at the public education schools in Bisha Governorate, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through identifying the degree of female school principals’ exercise to the leadership skills, education about the most prominent obstacles that encounter them while conducting such practices. As well as identifying the requirements of developing those skills in light of distance education from their viewpoint. In order to achieve the research objectives, the researcher has adopted the descriptive survey approach, and the questionnaire as a research instrument, which was applied on a sample comprised of (163) female school principals. The findings showed that female school principals’ exercise to the leadership skills in light of distance education was with a “high” degree, where the arithmetical average reached (4.12) out of (5). Moreover, the obstacles that face the female school principals in exercising leadership skills in light of distance education indicated a “high” degree, with an arithmetical average of (3.51). In addition, the degree of significance of the requirements of developing such practices showed a “high” degree, with an arithmetical average of (3.72). While the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) about the degree of exercising leadership skills by the female school principals, and the degree of obstacles existence. As well as for the importance of availability of the requirements of developing such practices in light of distance education that are attributable to the variables of (the degree of academic qualification of the school principal, educational stage, type of academic qualification of the female school principal, training courses on the usage of the technology, and years of service). While there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the responses of the research sample concerning the degree of exercising leadership skills by school principals in light of distance education as per the variable of (years of service) of the school principal in favor of the category of (over than 15 years).
