The study aimed to identify the necessary training needs for teachers in the field of global citizenship education in post-basic education schools in the South Al Batinah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman in light of the United Nations Development Program model. Study used a descriptive method, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (265) teachers. The results of the study reached that the necessary training needs for teachers in the field of global citizenship education in post-basic education schools in the South Al Batinah Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman in light of the United Nations Development Program model came a high degree. They also came to a high degree in the fields of skills, values and attitudes, while it came a moderate in knowledge field. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample at the level (α≤0.05) attributable to the variables of gender, academic qualification, years of experience, title Job, and Specialization.
