البنية العالمية لمقياس العبء المعرفي المرتبط بالتعليم عن بعد لدى طالبات المرحلة الثانوية بمنطقة المدينة المنورة
This research aims to find indications of validity and reliability of the cognitive burden scale related to distance education among secondary school female students in Madinah Region. To achieve the research objectives, the study questions were answered, the most important of which is to conduct research on the factorial structure of the cognitive burden scale on a sample of secondary school female students in Madinah, using the descriptive and analytical approach. It was applied to a study population of secondary school female students in Madinah Region during the second semester of 1441-1442AH academic year of which an exploratory sample consisting of (70) students were taken to verify the validity of the scale before application to the overall sample. Subsequently, it was applied to a total sample consisting of (235) female students. Statistical methods used include Pearson correlation coefficient and Alpha Cronbach coefficient, to verify the validity and reliability of the scale. Moreover, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out, and the findings showed that the cognitive burden scale data associated with distance education is reliable. Adopting the slope curve test and Kaiser test, the findings showed that the scale has a binary factor structure, which are: intrinsic/ internal cognitive burden, and closely related cognitive burden. The research made a number of recommendations, the most significant of which is to take advantage of the cognitive burden scale associated with distance education in studying the effect of some variables on distance education-related cognitive burden, such as gender, grade, level of academic achievement and the economic level of students. In addition, a number of proposals were put forward, the most important of which is verification of the factorial structure of the cognitive burden scale associated with distance education using confirmatory factor analysis.
