أسباب ضعف الدافعية للتعلم لدى طالبات الصف العاشر مدارس إمارة الشارقة
This study aims to analyze the reasons for the low motivation to learn among tenth-grade female students in schools in the Emirate of Sharjah. The study also seeks to understand the factors that may contribute to reducing their motivation towards the educational process. Understanding these factors is crucial for improving academic performance and enhancing their desire to learn. The research methodology involved conducting personal interviews and surveys with a sample of tenth-grade female students in various schools in the Emirate of Sharjah. The collected data were analyzed using statistical and interpretative methods to identify trends and key findings. The study targeted ninety (90) students with low academic achievement, scoring 65% or less, from seven (7) different secondary schools in the Emirate of Sharjah. The results revealed several factors contributing to the low motivation to learn among this group of students. The proposed solutions from the students to overcome their low motivation included easing the academic burden and reducing the length of the school day to better align with the learners' nature and environment.
