The study aimed to identify the degree of the political stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its relationship to achieving the economic development from the point of view of the faculty staff. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive survey approach. The tool for collecting information was a questionnaire consisting of (21) paragraphs distributed on two pivots, the pivot of the degree of the availability of the political stability with (11) paragraphs, and the pivot of the level of achieving the economic development with (10) paragraphs. The questionnaire was applied using a comprehensive enumeration method on a sample of (65) faculty members selected from the study community of (80) faculty members. The study reached a number of findings: The degree of the political stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was medium, and the level of achieving the economic development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was high. The findings also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample about the degree of the availability of the political stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is attributed to the variable (sex, academic specialization, years in university education). There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the study sample about the level of achieving the economic development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attributed to the variable (sex, academic specialization, years in university education). Finally, the findings showed that there was a strong positive correlation of (0.898) with statistical significance between the degree of the political stability and the level of achieving the economic development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study recommended the need for the government to improve its performance so that there is popular satisfaction with its performance. The rule of law shall be applied to the rulers and the ruled.
