التحول الرقمي في المجتمع وأثره على تغير العادات الاجتماعية للبنات في محافظة جدة : دراسة مطبقة على منسوبات الكليات التقنية للبنات بجدة
The problem of this study is identified in the impact of digital transformation in society on changing social habits by creating more interactive roles than the prevailing social roles in the structure and culture of society that lead to a change in girls' social habits as a result of this interaction. The aim of the study was to reveal the impact of digital transformation in society on changing social habits of girls in the family in relation to the customs of choice for marriage, economic habits, recreation habits and leisure time. The study used the comparative approach dealt with two periods of Saudi society, the first period, (Before 1435AH), a period before digital transformation, a period that is almost free of commercial digital software and social media programs, while the second period is the changing period after (1435AH) in which commercial applications and social networking programs prevailed to represent two different generations of girls in the contemporary digital period and girls' generation in the pre-digital period through the selection of a representative sample for each generation of girls of the Technical College in Jeddah where the sample included 350 individuals for both generations using the regular random sample. The study also used the electronic questionnaire tool to collect field data. The interpretative interview tool was used to interpret quantitative data obtained through the questionnaire. The problem of the study was interpreted through the use of symbolic interactive theory. As for statistical treatments, the statistical relationship test (Std. Residual) and the confirmatory factor analysis test were used to measure the size of the social theory's interpretation of the study problem. And through the methodological procedures used in this study I have come up with a series of results, the most important of which are: Digital transformation is a powerful influence on changing girls' social habits with regard to the habits of choosing couples associated with accepting and communicating with the suitor and looking at the suitor and the habits of housing and dowry conditions, in accordance with the interest and personal benefit of the girl other than the girls in the pre-digital transformation who were following the prevailing social customs, whether with their conviction or fear of their families. The study also found the impact of digital transformation in changing the socio-economic habits of girls, which are associated with excessive and unjustified consumption in buying clothes for occasions and choosing places to meet relatives and girlfriends, for fear of ridicule from people, friends and relatives other than girls in the pre-digital transformation period.
