This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of awareness-counseling program for teachers of students with learning disabilities to develop their level of intellectual security. The sample of the study divided into two groups, experimental group and control group; every group had ten teachers in Riyadh. The research used the following tools: “Intellectual security Scale” and “The awareness-counseling program” (prepared by the researcher). The data was processed using appropriate statistical methods. Results clarified that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) in intellectual security for the experimental group between pre and posttest favoring the posttest, there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the experimental and control groups in intellectual security in posttest favoring the experimental, there weren’t statistically significant differences between pre and posttest in intellectual security for the control group and there weren’t statistically differences for experimental group between posttest and follow-up. The research recommends the participation of various community institutions in confronting intellectual deviation and preparing awareness-raising guidance programs to develop concepts of intellectual security.
