This study investigated the effectiveness of using the conceptual change model in correcting alternative perceptions of some legal concepts among first-year middle school female students. The researcher used a descriptive approach (content analysis) to identify the alternative perceptions of legal concepts among students, and an experimental approach using a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group, which was taught using the conceptual change model, and a control group, which was taught using the conventional lecture-based approach. The research sample consisted of (59) female students. To collect research data, a test of alternative perception correction was used. The results showed that the conceptual change model was effective in correcting alternative perceptions of some legal concepts among first-year middle school female students. (Published abstract)
