This study aimed at revealing the effectiveness of using SCAMPER model in developing linguistic creativity skills among sixth grade female students. Experimental method was used with a sample of (63) female students who were randomly distributed into two groups: control group and experimental group. Control group female students studied the topics of unit four in My Beautiful Language textbook using the traditional method whereas experimental group female students studied the same topics using SCAMPER model. A pre and post scale of Linguistic creativity skills was applied on both groups. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) between mean scores of experimental and control groups on the linguistic creativity skills scale (fluency, flexibility and originality) in favor of experimental group students. Thus, SCAMPER model was effective in developing linguistic creativity skills among sixth grade students. Recommendations of the study are represented in adopting SCAMPER model in teaching Arabic language and training teachers on using it in their teaching, reconsidering the organization of the content of Arabic language textbooks and reformulating them in accordance with SCAMPER model, and raising Arabic language teachers' awareness of linguistic creativity skills and the importance of developing these skills among students.
