The study aimed to identify the predictive ability of positive thinking on academic buoyancy, and to identify the differences between students' scores on the two variables of the study (according to gender). The study sample consisted of (300) students, divided into (150) male and (150) female students, the study used the positive thinking scale and the academic buoyancy scale (developed by the researcher). The results of the study concluded that there is a strong direct statistically significant relationship between positive thinking and academic buoyancy among the students of the study sample, as it was found there was a significant effect of positive thinking on the academic buoyancy of the study sample students. The study also found that there were no differences between the average scores of middle school students (according to gender) in the scales of positive thinking and academic buoyancy.
