The study examined the effectiveness of a training program based developing phonological awareness in improving reading skills for students with reading difficulties. Using a quasi-experimental design with a single group, the study sample consisted of (10) third-grade students identified as having reading difficulties, with ages ranging from (9 to 01) years. The results indicated the effectiveness of the Developing awareness training program in improving reading skills as measured in the post-test. The researcher emphasized the importance of developing training programs that focus on developing awareness for more advanced educational stages. (Published abstract)
