The study aimed to find out the effectiveness of flipped classes in enhancing the deep understanding skills of second year average female students. To achieve this goal, the experimental approach was followed with a semi-experimental design based on the control and experimental groups, a specification table and test was prepared to measure deep understanding skills and a performance note card. As tools for the study, the study sample consisted of (40) students from the second intermediate grade in Baljurashi Governorate, the sample was divided equally in a random manner, and the statistical treatment represented by the (T-test) and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used. The results of the study showed that the use of flipped classes is effective in enhancing deep understanding skills, as the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at (0.01) between the mean scores of the deep understanding test in the post application in favor of the experimental group and an effect size greater than (0.8), and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post application in the observation card in favor of the experimental group. In the light of these results, the researcher recommends the use of flipped classes in teaching the science course to enhance the different skills and concepts, to train female teachers on how to use the flipped classes, to design and produce techniques that contribute to supporting students' study through them.
