The study aimed to reveal the role of student activities at A'Sharqiyah University in developing the leadership skills of its students from the point of view of students, as well as the obstacles that prevent their achievement, and the study used the descriptive approach, and to achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire was prepared distributed over three leadership skills: (technical leadership skills, human leadership skills, intellectual leadership skills), and three obstacles, namely (obstacles for students, obstacles specific to society, obstacles especially the university), while the study sample amounted to (209) male and female students distributed to the faculties of arts and humanities, law, business administration, engineering, applied and health sciences, and the results of the study showed that the degree of approval was (large) on the role of university activities in developing leadership skills among A'Sharqiyah University students, with an arithmetic mean (3.94) and a standard deviation (0.90). The results of the study showed that the degree of approval of the existence of obstacles that prevent the achievement of student activities at A'Sharqiyah University for its role in developing leadership skills from the point of view of A'Sharqiyah University students was (medium) with an arithmetic mean (3.30) and a standard deviation (0.85), and the study found that there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the members of the study sample in the role of student activities in developing leadership skills among A'Sharqiyah University students attributed to the gender variable, except for human leadership skills In favor of male students, while there are no statistically significant differences due to the variable of the year of study and college. The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members about the obstacles that prevent student activities from achieving their role in developing leadership skills among A'Sharqiyah University students due to the variable of gender, academic year and college. The study reached a set of proposed measures to activate the role of student activities in developing leadership skills at A'Sharqiyah University, the most important of which is raising awareness of the importance of student activities, highlighting outstanding students in activities and programs in various means of communication, the importance of student participation in planning and managing activities.
