الإحتياجات التدريبية في مجال التعلم الإلكتروني لمعلمات اللغة الإنجليزية في منطقة الباحة
The study aimed to uncover the training needs in the field of e-learning for female English language teachers in Al Baha Province. To achieve the objective of the study the researcher used the descriptive survey approach. The study population consisted of all female English language teachers in Al-Baha Province of (322) members, while the study random sample consisted of (103) female English language teachers, and the study tool was a questionnaire consisting of (52) items divided into (3) axes (competencies related to computer skills, Competencies for dealing with network software and services and competencies for preparing courses electronically). After the data analyses of the study tool, the results revealed that the training needs in the field of e-learning for English language female teachers in Al Baha province were low, with an arithmetic mean of (1.8), and the arrangement of the axes in accordance to the training need was as follows: Competencies for dealing with network software and services, with an arithmetic mean of (1.73), competencies for preparing courses electronically, with an arithmetic mean of (1.76), competencies related to computer skills, with an arithmetic mean of (1.87). The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the opinions of the study sample members about the training needs in the field of competencies related to computer skills, in the field of dealing with network software and services, and in the field of preparing courses electronically according to the years of experience. The results of the study also revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the opinions of the study sample members about the training needs in the field of competencies for dealing with network software and services, and in the field of competencies for preparing courses electronically according to previous training courses in the field of e-learning in favor of the female teacher who completed more than two training courses for the teacher who completed two courses or less. The study presented a number of recommendations based on the results of the study. (Published abstract)
