The Corona pandemic has changed many concepts at all levels, and the educational level may have been one of the levels most affected by it, given the young age group that benefits from these services provided by educational institutions. Therefore, this study aimed to reveal the level of impact of the pandemic on the abilities of teachers of the Arabic language between teachers who are in public or private schools, and between schools that have adopted face-to-face, blended, or simultaneous distance education. After that, the effect of the level of these teachers on the achievement abilities of their students in the Arabic language subject at the level of oral competencies and at the level of written competencies was studied. The sample of the study consisted of 168 male and female teachers of the Arabic language teaching in some public and private schools in Lebanon, and their distribution was between public schools (46 male and female teachers) and private (122 male and female teachers). The results of the study showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the educational performance of Arabic language teachers and in the level of students’ achievement of oral and written competencies due to the school variable (formal, private) or due to the type of education variable (attendance, integrated, distance: synchronous). There was also a correlation between the level of educational performance of Arabic language teachers on the one hand and the level of students' achievement of oral competencies by 70%, and their level of achievement of written competencies by 58% on the other hand.
