أثر استخدام العمالة المنزلية على تنمية المهارات اللغوية لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر الوالدين
The study aimed to investigate the impact of using domestic labor on the listening and speaking skills of kindergarten children from the parents' perspective, considering variables such as gender, educational qualification, and age. The study employed a descriptive survey methodology and used a questionnaire that was validated and reliable for the parents of kindergarten children in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The participants were selected through convenience sampling, and the sample size was (203), Also found that the overall effect of using domestic labor on the listening skills of kindergarten children was moderate with a mean score of (2.67) and a standard deviation of (0.426). Furthermore, the overall effect on speaking skills was moderate, with a mean score of (2.34) and a standard deviation of (0.778). There were statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) in the mean scores of the linguistic skills from the parents' perspective attributed to the gender variable in favor of males. However, there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) in the mean scores of the linguistic skills from the parents' perspective attributed to the variables of educational qualification and age, The study recommended enrolling children in recreational educational institutes to develop their talents and minimize their exposure to domestic labor.
