The study aimed to identify the Principal Pipeline Initiative in schools in the United States of America and the possibility of benefiting from it in the Sultanate of Oman. The study used the descriptive method, and the analysis of documents was used in collecting data and information. The results of the study concluded that the Principal Pipeline Initiative in the United States of America included four areas. The first is to develop school leadership and management standards; the second is to develop programs for preparing school principals through programs based on educational districts with the support of community educational, training and research institutions, in addition to programs based on universities. The third is to develop the selection and hiring processes by providing various opportunities for many groups to apply for the positions of school principals, such as: assistant principals, teachers, and specialists. The fourth is to develop a job performance evaluation system for school principals and methods of supporting them by adopting the Vanderbilt method of leadership in education. The study recommended that the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman develop school administration standards in the school performance development system and build professional standards for school principal's supervisors. The participation of universities and educational, training and research institutions in the local community with the specialized institute for professional training for teachers in programs to prepare and qualify school principals. Updating job descriptions for school principals, in which more attention is given to Instructional leadership and support for students with special needs. Developing a job performance evaluation system for school principals and methods of supporting them by focusing on making evaluation a continuous process from the beginning and end of the academic year, and supporting principals by building professional learning communities among them.
