This research aimed to identify the effect of interaction between mobile applications and digital presentations in light of communicative theory of learning for processing planning and production management information of industrial schools students. To realize research aims, digital presentations of planning and production management information were designed and presented through the mobile application of (Nearpod) in light of communicative theory of learning. Student’s guidebook of using the mobile application as well as designing processing planning and production management information test were prepared. Research control and experimental groups were selected among third grade students at Tahta Industrial Secondary School for Boys in Sohag governorate. Its number is (30) students. The research devised the theoretical and experimental framework according to the research experimental design. The research relied on pre and post application and comparison between the two research groups. The research results showed statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of experimental group students in processing planning and production management information test taught by using mobile application (Nearpod) and digital presentations and the mean scores of control group students taught by the ordinary traditional method in the post application in favour of the experimental group. The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of experimental group students in the pre and post application. This proves the positive effect of using mobile applications (Nearpod) and digital presentations based on communicative theory of learning in processing planning and production management information of experimental group students in post application. The research recommends reconsidering presenting the learning content of school syllabi in industrial schools by employing modern approaches based on communicative theories, mobile applications and digital presentations to upgrade industrial schools teachers’ professional and teaching standard to suit students’ digital needs as well as supporting school books and curricula in industrial education with communicative theories and mobile applications of learning to enrich teaching and learning processes.
