برنامج مقترح قائم على المدخل البصري لتنمية المفاهيم البيولوجية لدى طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي

The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of using the visual approach in teaching biology in developing biological concepts among first-year secondary school students. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared the proposed program, the teacher’s guide, and the student’s activity booklet for teaching the unit (Inheritance of Characteristics) according to the visual approach. The biological concepts test was constructed, and its final form consisted of (75) multiple-choice items, after ensuring its validity and reliability. It was applied to a group consisting of (30) students from Al-Hawamdiya Secondary School for Girls in Giza Governorate. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the research group in the pre- and post-applications in favor of the post-application, which indicates the effectiveness of the proposed program based on the visual approach. In developing the biological concepts of the research group, and in light of the results, the research presented a number of recommendations and proposals. (Published abstract)
