The study aimed to find out the reality of teachers of hearing disability possessing the teaching practices according to the professional standards of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) from their perspective, and to study the differences in light of some variables. To achieve these goals, the current study used the descriptive (survey) method, and the questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data; and the final study sample consisted of (153) male and female teachers. The results showed that the level of teachers of hearing disability possessing teaching practices according to the professional standards of ETEC, from their perspective, came with an arithmetic average of (3.49), and a high level in general, and at the level of the seven dimensions of the questionnaire, they all came at a high level. The results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) according to the teaching experience variable, in favor of teachers with more experience (ten years or more); and according to the training courses variable, in favor of teachers who have taken a greater number of courses (more than ten courses) versus teachers who have taken (less than five courses). On the other hand, the results did not show any statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) depending on the variables of gender, educational qualification, and educational stage. Based on the results, the current study recommended intensifying the courses provided to teachers of hearing disability to refresh their knowledge and provide them with new skills within the framework of the professional standards of ETEC.
