The study aimed to find out the relationship between mental alertness and professional stress among teachers in northern Gaza. To achieve its objectives, the study used a descriptive approach based on frequencies. The study sample consisted of (200) female teachers from schools in northern Gaza. The study tools consisted of a mental alertness scale prepared by the researcher and a professional stress scale. Prepared by (AsmaaIbrahimi, 2015). The most important results of the study were the existence of a statistically significant inverse relationship between mental alertness and professional stress, and there are also no differences in mental alertness and professional stress due to the variables of age, experience, and educational level.
