The total sample consisted of (292) male and female students from secondary schools affiliated to the north Gaza Directorate. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect information, and the current study included a scale (perceived counseling professional competence, mental health) prepared by the two researchers. The study followed the descriptive analytical method, and statistical methods that were used to analyze the data and answer the questions of the study which are the standard deviations, the arithmetic averages, Pearson correlation coefficient and applied (3 way ANOVA) analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The results of the study concluded that there is a high level of perceived counseling professional competence and mental health among eleventh-grade students, and that there is a statistically positive correlation between perceived counseling professional competence and mental health. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences in the interaction between professional competence and mental health among a sample of eleventh-grade students in Gaza governorates, depending on variables: gender, achievement level, economic level.
