This study examines the relationship between psychological resilience and job satisfaction among a sample of psychological counsellors in the city of Misurata. The research aims to identify the levels of psychological resilience and job satisfaction among psychological counsellors working in educational institutions, considering variables such as age, gender, marital status and years of experience. The research community comprises all 540 psychological counsellors in basic education/primary schools within the city of Misurata, distributed across 12 educational offices. A simple random sample of three offices was selected, namely: the Dhat Alremal office, the Al-Zarroug office, and the Misurata Centre office, representing 30% of the research community, resulting in 105 psychological counsellors. A total of 105 questionnaires were distributed, and 104 were collected, achieving a response rate of 99% of the original sample size. The researcher used two scales as research tools: the psychological resilience scale and the job satisfaction scale. The psychological resilience scale was developed by (Kobasa) and translated by (Makhaymar) in 2002. The final version of the scale consisted of 23 items. As for the job satisfaction scale, it was prepared by (Awaid Sultan Al- Mashan Al-Anzi) in Kuwait in 1996. The final version of this scale comprised 43 items after. (Published abstract)
