The study aimed to identify the level of governance of education expenditures and the level of expenditure efficiency at Ummul Qura University. In addition, identify if there was a statistically significant effect of education expenditures on the expenditure efficiency in Ummul Qura University at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). The sample of the study included (310) individuals from academic leaders at Ummul Qura University. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach and utilized the questionnaire as the study instrument. The researcher revealed that the level of governance of education expenditures and expenditure efficiency at Ummul Qura University is average. In addition, there was a statistically significant effect of education expenditures on expenditure efficiency in Ummul Qura University at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). The study recommended benefiting from foreign studies in the governance of education expenditures and guidance workshops for academic leaders to enhance expenditure efficiency. (Published abstract)
